January 2018: Dr. Artemiadis chaired the 2018 SouthWest Robotics Symposium at ASU.
May 2017: Dr. Artemiadis has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure, and received the Fulton Exemplar Faculty Award given to associate or full professors who have a combination of high research productivity, instructional load, student evaluations and doctoral student mentoring.
May 2017: Jeffrey Skidmore successfully defends his Ph.D and receives the Outstanding Graduate Student Award in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering PhD program for AY 2016-17.
March 2017: Dr. Artemiadis co-organizes a workshop on the "Multi-Scale Integration in Upper-Limb Prosthetics" in the 2017 American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA) hosted World Congress with Michael Wininger, Patrick Pilarski and Claudio Castellini on September 6-9, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
February 2017: Dr. Artemiadis has been elected as IEEE Senior Member (Robotics & Automation Society)

October 2015: Dr. Artemiadis was selected to attend the Frontiers of Engineering Education (FOEE) Symposium organized by the National Academy of Engineering, to be held October 25-28, 2015, at the National Academies' Beckman Center in Irvine, CA. 70 Faculty Members across the US universities were nominated and selected for this Symposium.

April 2013: Panagiotis Artemiadis has been selected as among the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering Top 5% Teaching Award recipients! Each year, students in Engineering submit nominations and teaching evaluations. Those nominations are reviewed by the Quality of the Instruction faculty committee prior to a final selection that typically recognizes around 10-12 faculty across all of the five Schools of Engineering who are in the top 5 percent for teaching excellence.
